The DCS Remote Control System allows you to leave track voltage constant and control multiple Proto-Sound 2.0 equipped engines individually. Thirty-two buttons and an LCD display provide total control over Proto-Sound 2.0 features such as setting scale mph, passenger station announcements, and setting multi-unit lash-ups, etc.
**TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE** The Accessory Interface Unit (AIU) turns the DCS System into a complete layout control system. Each AIU controls up to 10 accessories and 10 switches (turnouts) and allows you to control routes and scenes through your DCS Remote Control Set.
MTH’s Digital Command System (DCS) unlocks the full sound and operating potential of Proto-Sound 2.0 or later equipped locomotives. Insert a DCS Commander in the wires from your existing DCC system to the track and you can switch back and forth between DCC and DCS with the push of a button. Or use the Commander alone with your own DC power supply.
This package has a 100 watt power supply making the DCS Commander essentially a three-in-one device as a stand-alone power pack for analog operation, a DCS controller for operating M.T.H. HO locomotives with Proto-Sound 3.0 and as a pass-thru for DCC signals for engines equipped with DCC receivers.
