New MTH HO SD70ACe and SD70M-2 Locomotive Configurations

MTH Electric Trains has completed development of an NMRA Compliant DCC Circuit Board and will begin installing that board into the company's HO SD70ACe and SD70M-2 models in each of the paint schemes previously offered with MTH's Proto-Sound 3.0 digital sound system.

The new "DCC Ready" models will begin shipping to MTH Authorized Retailers in late April 2010.

MTH has been developing this board for some time and has already manufactured the bodies and chassis - the same chassis used on their acclaimed Proto-Sound 3.0 equipped models.  Assembly of the new board into the models will begin in February, so the initial production runs will be limited in availability.

The suggested retail price for these DCC Ready models will be $189.95 Traintek $169.95
