This little tester can test any 20ma LED (any color) without the need for a current limiting resistor. Just snap the tester on a standard 9-volt battery and start testing.
Accidental reverse connection will not harm LED. Accidental shorting of test clips will not harm tester.
Includes on-board solder pads (with holes) for resistors to experiment with LED brightness changes. Can also be used as a simple power source for small lighting projects.

I was surfing Traintek, and I saw the Ngineering LED tester. I was in need of this little device, since I was about to embark on a 10 engine fleet build. I was also interested in using LED as my headlights in my fleet...replacing the grain of wheat bulbs used by Athearn Genesis.
I then went to the Ngineering site and viewed the specifications for the tool. He has so many little tools that will help the hobbyist accomplish their goals with regards to LED and lighting needs.
This tester does exactly what it says. It provides an easy, and safe manner to test your LED's before installation. The leads have spring loaded connectors that allow you to have trouble free testing of your wiring handy-work before committing the project to your model.
You can't go wrong with this nifty tool. And, Traintek got it out quickly and safely to my home.
